the healing power of nature
The Story
Salt Folk Co. began with a vision: to create a place where handmade and preloved coexist, where simple everyday acts hold their own poetry, and where every offering reflects our commitment to sustainability, simplicity, and wholehearted living. We're a husband and wife duo building this alongside our little one (& future littles), in a home kitchen where sourdough rises for 24 hours and vintage pieces are chosen one at a time. Our work is shaped by the natural rhythms around us—the daily tending of a living starter, the patience it takes to find clothing with soul, the belief that life feels richer when we slow down.
Our sourdough is wild-fermented from organic flour, spring water, and ancient sea salt. Our clothing is curated for how it feels: soft textures, honest form, pieces ready for their next chapter. Both are gathered with intention, made to nourish more than just the body but the soul—they're meant to support a life that feels grounded, well-nourished, and quietly abundant.
This is about presence. It's about choosing things that were made to last, that feel like home, that help you pause and reconnect with what matters. We hope what you find here becomes part of your own story—made for the pause and wonder that comes with a slower, more grounded life.
Meet The Founders
Jordun + Kaelynn / Two lovers raising our little human who knows the rhythm of bread rising and is learning that old things carry stories. We started Salt Folk Co. because we craved a reconnection to ourselves. When Kaelynn became a mother, she felt parts of herself shift—gentle, necessary shifts, but ones that left her searching for what still felt like hers. This became her way of rediscovering the creative, intentional parts of herself while honoring the rhythm of motherhood. For both of us, it became about building a life and business our children could be part of, one that honors slowness and presence. We do it all together—feeding the starter, choosing pieces with intention, packing orders with care, letting each chapter unfold as it's meant to. This is our practice in building a life that feels full in all the right ways. We're so glad you're here.
