Salt Folk is a small, intentional shop offering handmade goods, thoughtfully sourced provisions, and curated finds. Everything we offer is chosen or made with care, in small quantities, and with respect for process. Because of this, our policies are designed to be protective of the work behind each piece.
All Sales Are Final
All sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges.
Due to the nature of small-batch production, handmade skincare, food items, vintage pieces, and limited-quantity goods, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, personal preference, or ordering errors.
We encourage you to reach out before purchasing if you have questions — we’re always happy to help guide you.
Tallow Skincare & Handmade Goods
Our tallow skincare is handcrafted in small batches using natural ingredients.
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us at saltfolk.co@gmail.com within 5 days of delivery with:
- Your order number
- A brief description of the issue
- Clear photos of the item, packaging, and shipping box
We will review each case individually and, at our discretion, may offer a replacement. Refunds are not guaranteed.

- We are not responsible for individual sensitivities or allergic reactions
- Always review ingredient lists carefully before purchase
Curated Goods
Some items offered through Salt Folk Co. are thoughtfully selected to complement our handmade offerings.
These items are final sale. If a curated item arrives damaged during transit, please contact us within 5 days of delivery with photo documentation. While we cannot guarantee replacements or refunds, we will do our best to assist and determine the most appropriate next steps.
Pre-Loved & Vintage Clothing
All pre-loved and vintage clothing is final sale.
Each piece is photographed, measured, and described with intention. By purchasing, you acknowledge that you have reviewed all details and accept the item in its existing condition.
Signs of wear, fading, or small imperfections are part of the nature of vintage garments and are not considered defects.
Sourdough Bread
Our sourdough is naturally leavened and baked fresh.
If there is an issue with the interior crumb of your loaf, please contact us within 24 hours of pickup or delivery with:
- A photo of the full loaf showing our packaging and label
- A photo of the interior crumb
Natural variations — including uneven holes, density differences, tang, crust thickness, shape, or color — are inherent to wild fermentation and artisan bread-making and are not grounds for refund.
Personal taste preferences are not eligible for refund or replacement.
Shipping & Transit Responsibility
Once an order has been handed off to the shipping carrier, Salt Folk Co. is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage caused during transit.
If your package arrives damaged, please email saltfolk.co@gmail.com with clear photo documentation. While we cannot be held responsible for carrier-related issues, we will assist to the best of our ability and help determine next steps where possible.
